I have a foot controller and used it on my K5 for 8 years in addition to 2 other pedals making 6 in all. I tested the "gapping" and it still happens when I push the panel memory buttons bypassing the foot controller. I just wondered if it was a common problem or just happens with me.
Hi Alan - do you mean absolute silence by 'gapping' or is it a part of a bar elapses before it changes following the tap of the foot that you mean cos I get the latter sometimes but never the former...? Rog

Hi Rog, Yes, it is part of a bar passing. It might be small but it is noticable. It is annoying really, as my K5 never did it at all. I did wonder if upgrading to V 1.6 (which I have been unable to do) would fix the problem

Aah well it's yer foot mate ain't it - yer slowing down with old age...chuckle. Seriously though I have found that timing is everything with panel memory changing and hitting that foot pedal at exactly the right moment can make all the difference. Rog
Hi Alan, I found that turning the equalizer to off, helped me remove the glitch, when moving from one panel memory to another, using the foot pedal. Hope it might help you. Fred Wren
