This is also a good way to make a seamless transition in the middle of a song when changing keys.
At the end of the phrase where you want to transpose (say from F to F#), press Fill #2, immediately press transpose, and immediately press Fill #1. This will change key along with playing a little riff and the MSA rhythm and voicing will be unchanged. It usually sounds pretty good.
Of course you can press Fill #1, transpose,then Fill #2 and it will sound a little different

Hi Walt, I love getting all these tips. I have just bought my kb, and find it daunting. While I'm here - does custom panel favourites have already set items in it? Or am I seeing someone elses work? Obviously the kb is not new. and can I delete these if I want? Jess
