You can use an USB cable from the KN7000 to your PC. In fact this is the best way to make best sound quality. I have written an article about this here: http://www.kn7000.net/articles.php?cat_id=1 - See the "Transfer recording from KN7000 to your PC." article. Feel free to contact me if any problems.

I should like to try Alec's suggestions. However, he wrote about 'technics driver being installed in the pc". Please how is this achieved?

Thanks.

The USB driver can be downloaded from www.KN7000.Net where you also can download a manual for the driver.

Does this method (USB cable connection) work with any other software than the Technics Audio Recorder?

Yes! Works well with Goldwave, Audacity and I'm sure it will with any other Digital recorder/editor, which is capable of being configured to recognise an input from a USB source on the PC.

I tried all the suggestions but got nowhere, the disc provided by Technote all it had on it was demonstrations of songs with printed music. Where is the so called song manager?
and will all this work with Vista?

I'm a little late in catching up on the forum, but I didn't see an answer to your question, so I will add my two cents worth. If you don't have the audio recorder that came with your new KN, maybe Bill Norrie has a copy on his website you can download, but it works just fine with Vista. I've used it many times with the USB cord and Roxio and it couldn't be easier. No problems. Try it - you'll like it!
