Like Buddy, if anyone can convert the KN7000 Bolero file, which Bill Norrie so kindly sent me,and others to my Dig. Piano or even to a KN6500 (which will convert to my piano),I will be eternally grateful. Sorry to say Bill, it did not work. I am so envious of all you KN7000 owners who have benefitted from Bill's technology, and I may have missed out, I am as mad as hell and I won't stand for it!!!!!. Well, maybe I will. I saw a KN7000 on ebay last week, but "the gardener" would not have been too happy if I arrived home with it. I can tell you, I was very tempted!!!!! Ray

Hi Elizabeth, Now, one thing at a time...I have never been on a promise, so nothing has changed. My Gardener is the best in the business, and although I am perfect, (see username), I do not interfere in that department. I assume that your domicile does not involve more than the odd flower box, and that is sad. Now to music; As you have been a recipient of Bill Norrie's Bolero rhythm, and me being such a nice person, maybe you could find a way to get it to work in the 6000, send me a copy and we would be greater friends for life. I saw another 7000 for sale, but because of the problems I had getting my pianner fixed, I am very hesitant about buying another Technics, although reading all of the comments about Technics and Tyros, methinks KN7000 still reigns. Another of the tough decisions in life. How lucky we are???? Ray

Hi Gunnar, I tried both 'Zipped' versions which you kindly emailed to me, but I just get the same error message as reported by Ray I note that the Composer part of the converted files (.CMP), is much smaller than the original .CMP part. The original, which includes Composer Memories A, B and C is 13,125 bytes, whereas the converted Composer part of the file is only 4114 bytes. There was no .TM part in the original - only .LSW, .PMT, SQT, .ACT and .CMP. In fact, the lengths of all the parts of the converted file, are considerably different to the original file, so it looks like either the conversion process did not work correctly or the file which you received from Ray, somehow got corrupted in the transfer?? I'll email you another copy to try - if you have the time............ Thanks for your efforts Gunnar
