The KN7000 that I bought as a back up came with expansion boards 1 and 2. That keyboard is seldom played. I don't use the sounds because when you create a sequence with them the sequence doesn't sound the same on a keyboard that does not have the boards.
That keyboard is stored away, so the following is from memory. I do remember going through some of the sounds and found a lot of organs that I liked. But, I felt that most of them could be replicated by editing sounds that are already built in. I remember several unique Celtic voices that were neat. Don't remember much big band stuff except for several nice clarinets and some strings. There were also some nice guitar sounds.

Welcome Francis, I have the #4 board in my at home 7K and it is full of wonderful orchestral sounds - strings, woodwinds and special effects. If I need a sound for my play on location 7K, I just look at what has been done to the board file dupe it and save it in sound memory for transfer to the location 7K. If you enjoy orchestral arrangements, you will find #4 useful. Frank
I have the various sound listings for each board, if anyone is interested.
In summary, Board 1 has 236 sounds; and Board 2 has 186 sounds. Bob is correct about the "Celtic voices."
Board 3 has 246 sounds covering rare synthesizer sounds. And Board 4 is called a Super Sound Board of 186 new sounds and Frank Bez has already commented on some of them.
The reason I'm after the No 4 board & the foot controller is simply to complete my KN7000 line-up.
I'll keep looking on Ebay. Thank you for your comments.

Francis, if you fail to find the foot controller, and if you or someone you know is adept at wiring stuff, I could give you the appropriate wiring information for you to create an equivalent of the FC2 foot controller. You can make a box that has jacks for four standard foot switches and use it as a substitute.

Hi Folks,I have the 4way unit and all it is is 4 standard foot switches mounted on a board and wired to one plug. Bob has the details for the connecting of the wires. Regards John
Hi again Francis Having the 4 expansion boards and afoot pedal is only the start of things not a complete line up. There are all the hundreds of song specific rhythms to be acquired...many of which are conversions from other makes of keyboards - Stevie Wonder songs are a good example... Rog
For who is interested, I have demo mp3 of all the four expansion boards: two medley mp3's per board. Just send me email address and via www.yousendit.com I can send it over.
Just over 3 weeks ago I posted a message about my search for an EW04 expansion board & the SZ-FC2-4 foot controller. I already had the EW01, EW02 & EW03 boards.
Shortly afterwards all 4 expansion boards plus the foot controller came up for sale on ebay. So, I purchased them.
This means I now have the first 3 expansion boards excess to my needs.
