I am having problems using a DX7II as a MIDI controller a.o. in connection with Cubase - I don't seem to get enough velocity response from the keyboard - max. level is 108. Any suggestions welcome

I own an original DX-7 - it was not capable of transmitting the full velocity range (0-127). It only went up to 108 or so. Not sure about the DX-7mkII. Is there a way to change the velocity response curve?
