Good News gentlemen! I think I may have found a replacement for my lost minimoog. I just received my latest issue of KEYBOARD magazine an there is a section on the 2003 Frankfurt Musikmeese show. Apparently Creamware/Midisoft have devloped a hardware midi controller that looks exactly like a Minimoog synthesizer. It's called the MIDImax, to go along with the Minimax software instrument plug-in. Retail for the MIDImax is $761. That is way cheaper then the New Minimoog Voyager or an orginal minimoog. I stoped by the Creamware website as well as MIDIsoft. But there was not a whole lot of information there. Well Midisoft is all in German.

Apprently there are going to be three versions of the MIDImax a keyboard version similar to the minimoog with a flip up front panel. A desktop version and a rack version. Secdeualed for release sometime this year. So I am going to be on the look out for it. Oh yeah the Minimax sells for $271.00

Got to http://www.creamware.com or to http://www.midisoft.de German only.

I look at it this way I get to have a minimoog well a clone plus a virtual synth. So I could have the best of both worlds. Analog sounds for the 21st century.
