I am looking for either a Yamaha 9000 with speakers. I understand this has been discontinued, but that the speakers are awesome...or the Korg pa1x also with speakers. thanks.
Marty, I'd wait and see what the Tyros II has to offer before going off and purchasing either of those keyboards. You do yourself an injustice turning your back on Yamaha's high end arranger.

Marty..... I know of a "like brand new" Pa1x. I think the gentleman is asking $2800. I'll call him tomorrow (9/7/05) and see if he still has it. (He's a Roland dealer that took it in as a trade in for a down payment). Let me know something quick! Email me at: Funnybone55@msn.com

Marty...... That's him. Greg will treat you right. Honest, excellent person to do business with. You will not regret it. I promise. He will do everything he can to get you what you want, at the best possible price. I bought a Technics KN7000 and the Korg Pa1x from him. I just wish I lived in Florida to take advantage of the classes he offers to use the products. I do, however, call him from time to time when I get stuck trying to do a few things on the Korg. But as I mentined before, Korg has a wonderful support team that will walk you through anything you want to know. Greg, and his team, are very knowledgable on the Tyros. He will be more than glad to help you if need be. Larry

Marty......... There are things you can be doing, while you are waiting for your Pa1X. The OS can be upgraded to v2.51, if Greg hasn't done it already. Simple process. You'll need about a dozen (+or-) or so blank, formatted 3-1/2" floppies to backup your OS and download the upgrade OS and musical resources. Call me or email me your tele, and I'll call you with the info. Not a thing to worry about, I'll help..... Call Larry
