Here in the deep south (US), it seemed all the valentine parties were on the weekend. I had 3, one of which was 450 people. Monday turned out to be a night off, so we went to to a movie, Million Dollar Baby, which was very good.

Worked at a restaurant I worked several years ago. Looked up once and saw two females in a lip-lock. Didn't look up much after that!

I worked at the casino, but I work there every Monday night. However there were lots more people out, probably 90% from Texas.

Had two parties yesterday, both retirement homes. Lots of decorations and festivities so a good time was had by all. One place had king and queen selected (by drawing) during the party. The queen immediately wanted to trade in her 'king' for another. She calmed down after we convinced her that she only had to keep him til the end of the party.

My regular Wednesday added a day for Valentine's Day, and we were mobbed. My daughter and her b/f came in, and got the best table in the house (it's GOOD to know the bandleader!).....the lady's got a rose from the house and a CD from me, and we had one of the BEST nights ever. Dancin', singin', huggin' and a kissin'!
It was a really nice night.

Probably mid 70s. The 'king' on the other-hand, was very proud of his new position and played it to the hilt by flirting with all the women. Looked like he was trying to round up a harem!
