I'm having serious thoughts along these lines, especially when you consider I have to shoot some outdoor photos for a magazine article today and the temperature this morning was a brisk 2 degrees. Wamred up a bit now, the thermometer reads 12. Just talked with a friend in Marathon Key and it was 72 and sunny--that's what this old man needs, especially this time of year. Now, all I have to do is convince my wife that selling this palatial estate in the People's Republic of Maryland is the right thing to do.

Seriously ..... anyone have experience with a long distance romance before?
What am I in for?
As far as I can tell ..... the best I can expect is about a date a month and endless phone chatter in between. So far, it's definitely worth the effort. I just hope I can be satisfied with the down times. I know me ... I want, what I want, when I want it. Sounds fair, right?

If that's asking too much, then I guess I ask for too much....!!!

Seriously, regarding the long distance romance, I don't know if I could take the "what is she doing now, who is she with, etc. etc. etc." ... but then, that's me ...
