While I think this has the makings of a GREAT game, to me (a NY GIANTS fan) this is like the '86 World Series with the Mets and Red Sox ... I have to root for BOTH teams to lose ...
And Larry, I have to admit that I will probably be rooting a little harder for the Pats to LOSE, because:
1) I am tired of hearing about how GREAT they are (even though they are)
2) I am tired of hearing about how the AFC is tougher than the NFC (even though it might be)
3)I will run into far LESS E-girls fans up here than Pats fans
4) It will be more fun next year when the GIANTS knock off the SB Champ E-girls

If the Eagles win we'll have to live with Uncle Dave and his buddies going goofy for awhile.

Hey ! We bit and clawed and wiggled our way into the SUPERBOWL for only the second time in my lifetime.
(The championship win in 1960 SORTA counts, but not really)
I think we deserve to get a little goofy!

The Beagles will lose. They are playing against Brady who came from the U of M. Nuff said!

IF they lose it will be more because of the genius of the Pats coaching staff ... There has been a lot of press up here (RI) about the 'genius' of Bill Belichick, and I don't deny his abilities, but it will be interesting to see if he is any less a 'genius' next year after he losses his offensive and defensive coordinators ...

For me its a win/win. I like both...but probably pulling a little harder for the Eagles, being as I am old Philly boy who never saw our teams get a ring.

Don's right. There is NO CHANGE in the way we will play NE !!!! We will be tough, aggressive and play to win !!!!!!!!

If McNabb plays his one out of every ten game[his super game],the Eagles will win by 10 points..
If McNabb plays his average game[poor acuracy,making his recievers reaching for the ball], but runs along with his passing, the Eagles can win by 3 points..
If McNabb plays the way he usually played this season[without running], the Pats will win by seven..
The Eagles need to use the tight ends to win[without Chad Lewis], If McNabb throws to his tight ends[8-10 times], this will open the game enough for Westbrook to have a BIG game[running and passing]..that along with NcNabb's running ability..

The Eagles defense will do their part as always...the offense has to click...or as the song says "Blue Monday"..

Well, it went the way of the average play..
A 24-21 win for NE...Why? Sure McNabb had a lot of yards, but his recievers had to do miracle catches..He threw once to a tight end, and did not run pass scrimage once[himself]..This was predictable, look at my earlier post...I am a hometown fan, but believe me ..the best team won.....Eagles made a game of it.....but why did they waste all that time on their last big drive? It killed their real chance of pulling the game out..

Hail to the champs ...... What a battle.
Sigh ...... at least we had a great party for two weeks! We'll be back next year!!!!!

If you look at it this way...The Super Bowl Champs[and the best team the last 5 years], are 3 points better than the Eagles....we can accept that!!
