I understand what you're saying, I guess the term "star" threw me off. In the CFL we've got some great players, but I think, (and this is just me talkin') any player who lives under a "star" label, and starts to believe his own press, is short lived. So basically, we don't have players hanging around because of their name or past reputation.

Don't get me wrong, I watch NFL, but for me at least the only teams I like to watch at any time are either the Greenbay Packers, or the Oakland Raiders. The other teams just don't hold my interest.
Probably why I gave up on hockey...except with the NHL, there's just too many teams.

Sorry I didn't reconize any of those "big names". In fact if you researched many Canadian Football players, you'll find that they were either, not drafted by the NFL, or they were cut by NFL teams for not being good enough. In other words...NFL rejects. S

They use to carry Candian Football here in the States, but was replaced by the more popular National Spelling Bee.
