The photos on my Web site Travlin' Easy , including the home page photo, were all shot with a 2.2 megapixel Sony CD-1000. Naturally, the resolution had to be reduced to 72-DPI for Internet viewers so they would load in a reasonable time.

Sorry, guys, I missed the real point. The end products for the images I'm used to dealing with are Annual Reports, 22"x28" posters, advertising shots for Toyota...even billboards.

That's a whole different animal, so while 5 meg images are unacceptable for our applications, 2-5 meg images are fine for what you are doing with them.
