Tough one if you think a bit longer about it.
I do have my favorites but then comes the BUT...
I'll give them in a random order, so there's no number one favorit.

and when I am finished I can overview and maybe see which is my favorite..

I only mention the styles which I prefer in a band situation that is..
Jazz, BUT where are you gonna GIG on a regular basis...
Jazz fusion, BUT same as jazz...
60 and 70ties pop/rock/latin-rock,funk,soul, BUT with the exeption of some songs, not really a challenge for me anymore...
Blues, BUT maybe an hour at the most, after an hour I get bored...
Progressive Rock, BUT again where are you gonna GIG on a regular basis...
After re-reading I come to the conclusion I am doing exactly what I prefer.

That's 60ties/70ties (occasionally some 80/90ties as well), BECAUSE there are regular GIGS, There is YELLNG/CLAPPING audience, As a band we often have these unique occasions everything is wright, the band is ONE swinging machine no individual.
(don't know how to describe this but if you have played in a good band you know what I mean) whatever style you play nothing beats that unique feeling.
To maintain the challenge we just learn continously new old songs...
So my friends NOW I wonder WHY you have a particular style that you prefer..
