Wow! That's an incredible drop in PSA. Good luck on that next doctor's visit Tony.

Hey, Tony, I don't know what PSA is but I guess it is nothing what a man really need. So I'm glad to see that you have one more reason for enjoyment. Make so on and you'll getting younger than me...*lol*

If I were you....I'd find out a bit more about PSA tests.
...If you are a man..????..trust me...you'll be needing it!
Tony...I have mine scheduled already, it's been just over a year since my last one.
Again...Good on ya!

Sheriff,

Maybe this will help explain the test:

Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is a protein produced by the cells of the prostate gland. The PSA test measures the level of PSA in the blood. The doctor takes a blood sample, and the amount of PSA is measured in a laboratory. Because PSA is produced by the body and can be used to detect disease, it is sometimes called a biological marker or tumor marker.

It is normal for men to have low levels of PSA in their blood; however, prostate cancer or benign (not cancerous) conditions can increase PSA levels. As men age, both benign prostate conditions and prostate cancer become more frequent. The most common benign prostate conditions are prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) (enlargement of the prostate). There is no evidence that prostatitis or BPH cause cancer, but it is possible for a man to have one or both of these conditions and to develop prostate cancer as well.

PSA levels alone do not give doctors enough information to distinguish between benign prostate conditions and cancer. However, the doctor will take the result of the PSA test into account when deciding whether to check further for signs of prostate cancer.

Yes, Gary, this was an absolutely full description of the PSA test. I know the thematic but I didn't know the technical term in english. Now I'm a little bit smarter, thank you!

Tony,

There is hope for us geezers. Watch that PSA like a hawk. Did they give you a reason for the drop? Was it prostititus? My high PSA was only 7.3. You and your doctor need to be very aggressive with this thing. My doctor at the Mayo Clinic told me to congratulate my doctors at home for being so aggressive in the detection of my prostate cancer. Good luck my friend!

Tom

Tom.....Since discovering that I had cancer last year in July, I started to take the product RELIV....I started with 2 shakes a day and increased it to almost 6 a day sometimes and other times doubling the amount...I now only take 3-4 double shakes a
day and I've never felt better..there is no cancer detected.....and I have no more colon problems....thank God and Reliv....I'm very happy that you are in the same shape as I am
now CLEAN.....yes Tom, there still is hope for us old geezers....hehehe
