Just interested in how accurate the forecasters are. Here in CT/NY border it's 9pm and we got about 4", they're saying we will get up to 30".

We just got nailed with 10 to 12 inches in north-central Maryland, and from the latest reports, we're going to miss the coastal storm that's headed your way. Tomorrow's forecast is for winds 25 to 45 MPH, which will cause considerable drifting, especially in open areas at the tops of hills. Want to guess where I live? Yep, the snow blower will more than pay for itself tomorrow.

Damnd I hate winter,

Gary

We already shoveled more than a foot off the driveway last night, and when I woke up this morning ... it looks like we got almost another foot! It sure is pretty though .... as long as you're loved ones are nearby, your fridge is well stocked, and your boots are warm and dry!

We (my daughter, her boyfriend/border and I)took a walk last night and it was really nice. It was :
"a beautiful sight, happy tonight, walkin' in a winter wonderland"

Remember to play a few of this seasonal songs this week .... they were never written for Holidays alone. It's all about connectiong with the times!

I've had friends in my place last night that live in NY and the Continental direct flights to Newark and Phila. were cancelled
due to heavy snow at both airports...they are happy they get to spend an extra day or two here in paradise....here's hoping that all you folks up there fare well and have a minimum of problems.....
