Seriously- What is a kickapoo juice? It has been mentioned a few times already. I can't imagine this be a real drink....the name scares me

Don't quote me but to the best of my reccolection, this is a drink made up for the cartoon strip "DOGPATCH" (LIL Abner) and had unknown and very suspicious contents, when ingested, caused the drinker to go several feet into the air (straight up) and upon landing be frozen as stiff as a codfish stuck in a alaskan iceburg.

I would never expose my body to such a concox-shion, but seem's to be a favorite with one member (no names) but he seems to be a rep for yamaha 3000's

Pose
ps
Heard that some of the ingredients are (benzine, gasoline, coldcream, acxylene, meatballs, cornballs, golfballs, cannonballs) naa think the last part is ingredients for my mother in laws chowder.

Pose,

You missed a couple key ingredients!

Kickapoo Joy Juice (The Recipe)

4 cups water
5 cups sugar
1/4-cup instant coffee
4 cups vodka
1 Tsp. Vinilla extract

Bring water to a boil, stir in one cup suger, then stir in coffee until dissolved. Stir in remaining suger and simmer for 20 minutes. After cooling to room temperature, stir in vodka and vinilla. Serve over ice--best tasting Kahlua you'll ever drink.

Here's to Al Capp and Lil' Abner,

Gary

Guess I'm not the only guy who loved that comic strip.

Pose,

Hang on to that rascal. I once saw a similar toy made of tin in about the same time frame that sold at an antique auction for a couple thousand bucks. You may want to get it appraised and keep it in a safe place.

Daisy May was HOT. Hope Uncle Dave doesn't see her picture, he'll be making trips to the Arkansas Ozarks.

HOT ... and very provocative for the time ... The prototype for "Daisy" from the 'Dukes of Hazzard' ...

Pose - There was a web site that featured these collectables, and if I can find some time later in the week, I'll try to locate it again. It listed the going prices for things that I thought no one in their right mind would want--and those prices were incredibly high. Keep in mind, though, there were folks who paid $29.95 for the pet rock!
