Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a musician in the Baltimore MD area. I play solo piano, I do gigs with a Roland G 1000 and I also have a band. I presently play piano at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore's Inner Harbor and I do lots of private parties and retirement homes using the G 1000 setup. I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forum Songman55. Lots of great entertainers and musicians here, and yes, I'm also a Baltimore area performer.

Bely up to the bar!

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the greetings and the round of drinks! Yes there is a meaning to the 55, it's my age. Still playing music after all these years. I'm looking forward to being a regular here.

Cheers,

Songman55

Welcome to SynthZone, Songman55!!!

Feel free to share your experiences with us and also to ask for help in the relevant forum if needed!
EDIT: I forgot to say that I'm a guitarist but I'm also familiar with a couple of synths. I'm a studio worker and I know Steinberg's Cubase Audio on Atari Falcon 030 very well... Huh, I've told so much that my gorge dried out...Keeper? A round for all...

Welcome Songman! I'm a solo pianist as well, but don't play professionally. I've done a few restaurant gigs in the past, as well as playing keys for a rock band. I currently dabble with my PSR-3000 for fun, but control it with an 88-key controller.

What sort of music do you play? I'd love to hear some of your stuff if you have any mp3's?

Hi everyone!

Again, it's great to be here. I play standards, some jazz, swings, latins and some party music. I just love really good songs. And yes, I love crab cakes! You sort of have to living in the Baltimore area. Gotta run. I'm a church music director, so that's what I'm doing this morning and I have a gig this afternoon. After that I'm free. I don't have to work on the 4th so I'm doing a cookout for the family.

Have a great 4th!

Joe
