Thank you Nigel,for taking this stand.
I cannot believe the amount of "attitude" taken by some people in a few of these discussion forums.
Information and comment is fine, but if anyone just wants to argue and insult members, find some otherplace.
Many times I have thought about contributing on a topic, bit was not about to have someone vent their spleen just because they did not agree. Disagreement is fine, as long as it is handled with respect and dignity.
Charitable people like Cap'n Russ, educated and eloquent posters like Taike, and Diki,(sometimes) and others, should be heeded for their knowledge, and opinions based on that knowledge, even if it is still only their opinion.
I read these forums to learn and improve my musical ability, but sometimes it really is heavy going.
I chose The Bar for this post as it is a neutral forum.
I feel better now and need a bit of fresh air.

The Bar is a good place to be, especially since no alcohol is served.

It's the "Cheers" atmosphere that draws me here. You know that you're among nice and friendly people.
