"Last Call" is a song I wrote for the classic rock band I play with to announce Last Call at the end of the night at the bar gigs we play. Because we also play a couple of AC/DC covers in that set I wanted the style to fit in with them. Well, like Diki, I'd decided to just lurk for awhile, but this was just too fantastic, incredible, hilarious, unbelievibly good, not to comment on. If it DOESN'T go viral, I don't know why. I've sent it to everybody I know. The song and the visuals perfectly compliment each other. This is one of the funniest (and saddest) things I've seen on SZ. GREAT WORK.

Nothing would thrill me more than to walk into a bar and hear someone else performing it. It would be the ultimate compliment. It wouldn't even have to be in this hard rock style. I think it would work well in a bar played in any musical style.

In fact it would be a blast to hear it crooned in a bluesy jazz lounge style.

PS: Nigel, I can't help but think that you might want to consider a new name for your Band. No disrespect, but you need something catchier in my opinion. Again, great job with the song. Top class and right up there with the big names if you ask me. Thanks again for sharing it with us Nigel.

Yep, I totally agree with you I have discussed this a few times with the band. Some weren't so keen because we have had it for 10 years now and locals that come to see us know us by that name ( plus we have a swag of t-shirts with Red Rhythm printed on them ) But I think it is just too "cabaret" given that we are much more classic rock than that.

But now I think I will bring up the subject one more time now you have made a comment about it.

The name I want to use is much more suited to an online world. It is ....

It would look great on tshirts and people would never have to ask what the band website URL is lol.

And of course I own that domain name. Currently it is just redirecting to the band website. What do you think about that?

I think the A Band name is sensational. One of the best domain names I have ever seen for a band. Not sure how that will work out financially for you but it's a very good name.

A: Who're you listening to?

B: A Band.

A: What are they called?

B: A Band.
