This kid is one of the reasons why I'm not too worried about the future of music. In spite of all the talk of the demise of quality writing and performing, these little "gems" always surface.

Man, think of how it would be to have this young man driving a straight ahead jazz group. He'd sure kick you in the a**!.

Over the years, some of the best drummers I've had were still in high school.

Drummers either have it or don't.

Isaiah really has IT!

Right on, Russ.

It's ridiciculous to even think that today's youth isn't into learning how to play a musical instrument. It's been said so on this very forum but kids like Isaiah let their instrument do all the talking.

Personally, I think today's youth has more options then ever with it comes to instruments and in what musical direction(s) they wish to proceed.

It has nothing to do with race, nationality or social background. One doesn't even have to play an instrument to appreciate music. That's the beauty of music.

Thanks for the link, Chas. I believe Isaiah is going places. Well, he already has. What talent!

YIKES! That's really cool. Hopefully he doesn't wear his wrists out before he's 20. Drumming is a very physical undertaking.
