Just got a call from Rory. He's "on the road again", heading for a gig tomorrow night at a horse farm in Cynthiana, a little town about 20 miles from here.

It's an acoustic set with a young female singer who moved to Nashville several months ago.


We're going to visit tonight after my session which ends at 11:00 PM and get together again tomorrow before his gig.

We got together for dinner; then back to the warehouse for a brief time to look at "toys"...I had a 9:00 PM studio session.

Rory will be here tonight. They'll come back to Lexington after the gig for the evening and will leave early for his job tomorrow in Nashville.

We're hoping to get together if we can find a time that doesn't conflict between his playing schedule and mine.

I can tell you that this old veteran player experiences major "jaw drop" every time this guy picks up an instrument....ANY INSTRUMENT!
