For any that may be interested I have 5 new tunes on my site. If you venture a listen thanks and any feedback as always is welcomed.

For my tastes, the 2 best cuts are "Gettin' Gone" and "Ipanemic"

All of the tunes combine my Tyros MoES and Stick.

Well, the Vikings lost again...I need something to take my mind off of things, ease things back a bit.

So I decided to give Terry's tunes a good listen through the headphones (Grado's).

Your songs sound great! Gettin' Gone is totally relaxing me. Ipanemic sounds great, but the song I'm really diggin' here is Rain Dance. The solo drum lead, the flute panning back and forth...I'm just sitting here bobbin' my head...My wife just walked by, wondering what the hell...

Terry, have you noticed how good your recordings are sounding? How good your over-all sound is becoming? Go back and listen to Time to Time on your vocal's page. And I LIKE Time to Time. Now listen to Gettin' Gone. It's like the veil has been lifted! So I guess I'm saying, if you were wondering if you're getting things dialed in---You most definitely are getting things dialed in.

Thanks. I feel much better now.

Terry, had a listen to Gettin Gone and Ipanemic. Very nice smooth laid back style Easy Going type music. It's a refreshing change from a lot of the harried loud and thumpin beat driven music that's heard on the Radio a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Someday I'd like to hear a 'whole' song though as a treat.

Best regards,
Mike

Mike & Nike,
Thanks & thanks.

I certainly hope I'm getting better at it, everything mixes tunes playing all of it.

You have finally discovered what my music is about....relax, kick back, and go somewhere else for a few minutes. It's really just chillin' music. Not meant for top 40 or dancing (though I think one could) or even humming along to, hence moslty non catchie melodies to play over and over again in one's head. My music should take zero effort on your part to listen to, it's just there to hopefully give some pleasing sound to empty air space.

I appreciate the listen and feedback by you guys.

Mike, pick the tune and I will send you an mp3 of the entire piece. I just do not put them on the site for reasons I talked about before.

Terry,

I agree with what Mike ( Msutcliff ) says. The thing I've noticed with your more recent work is a noticeable improvement in Sonic quality and how the pieces blend together. I'm sure these two things are tied together.

I can hear the Yamaha drums in a lot of it ( very distinctive sounds to me because I've played them so much), yet the line blurs enough that I can't always tell whether it's an arranger piece that's playing or live play. It's all well put together. You're live play adds enough to it that it sounds tight but not to the point that it sounds mechanical. I guess what I'm really saying is that this sounds like REAL music to me.

Ridng High and Ipanemic are my favorites. Actually though. I like 'em all. Good stuff Terry

JJ,
Thanks, I appreciate even a belated listen. I think the MoES bcause of the more complex way it works has forced me to compose and record in a different way, which I too think is turning out to be a good thing.
thanks,
Terry
