It seems that every style seems to have drums that are kinda in the background, not vlume wise but eq.

The registration is a great idea but if I make 100 regs for song I do it's very hard to locate these regis while I'm playing,

So if I set them up as songbooks entries, it's easier to access.

Is there a way to direct access any registration?

Frankieve is right, Steve. I think the OS should have two settings. Global and Song Mode. Things Like vocal settings, EQ, Compression, etc should be Global for ALL songs, Styles, etc.

However, I can see a need at times to store EQ, Vocal Volume, Compression, etc. on a Song-by-song basis in a registration.

For example, I use a Shure SM58 microphone but I also have a very BASSy voice. I would like the Tyros to setup when powered on to EQ and set volume consistently on ALL registrations.

I hope I'm clear. Now the hard part, how do we do this?

Frank,

Please explain to me why you wouldn't want the registration to have exclusive control of this function.

Steve, I wish I could explain this, but after doing it that one time, I've never been able to duplicate the process. I wish I could blame it on too much Kickapoo Joy Juice, but I can't. It did it globally, but just that one time--not since. Yes, the information does remain within the registrations, which for me that is where I would want the control. Once day, when I get more free time, I'll try to duplicate what I did again, only this time I'll write down the steps.
