I really don't know any thing about recording but what I need is to record myself and my duo. So I think I would need a recorder to be able to record 4 tracks at once two vocal mics and the 2 imputs from my G70. If this is the right way to do it. Please suggust what I should buy.

I saw the article. We record ourselfs on the job with a minidisc out of the PA but I can't adjust the tracks after or do any fixes. I need something to do a real demo and I'm not totally sure how to do it.

Korg has the Hard disk/Mixer/Recorder that will do just what you like to do...Model DR something? You can record, and adjust 8 tracks.

The Korg D888 mixer/recorder is probably the best thing out there for recording a live band and up to 8 tracks at a time.
First, it's set up to be a mixer, just like any 8 channel mixer. Instead of looking like a complicated 8 track recorder, you have familiar looking faders, tone controls and effects send on each channel. The cool thing is that is has a 40 GB hard drive inside and if you push record and arm as many tracks as you need to record, when finished you can USB directly to a computer and then burn a CD. If you want to add more tracks then say the 4 you started with. You can play back the four and add up to 4 more.
Korg has a winner here.
