Hey Mango, I thought you were already to buy the 2100 two weeks ago--what happened? And, while Graham and I agree on lots of issues, key feel and the overall number of keys is not one of them. As DNJ said, there has been lots of controversey over this one during the past couple years, and I guess it's just a matter of priorities. The first time I performed in front of an audience with a keyboard I quickly discovered that the main ingredient was the person doing the performing--not the key feel, not the key size, nothing other than the performer was important. I had a friend that used a casio, lots of midi files, and once in a while, actually played the keyboard. Additionally, he sang lots of great songs that everyone wanted to hear. His voice was not anything special, but he was a great entertainer. He was booked solid and always in demand--everyone loved his entertaining skills. I don't believe for one minute that the feel of those Casio keys made a tinker's damn to him, and obviously his audiences could have cared less. The bottom line is it all depends on what you personally want from a keyboard--not what someone else feels is important. The only person you must completely satisfy in this endeavor is yourself. Good Luck on whatever board you decide to purchase, Gary
