Has anybody tried it? The new operating system for SK880/SK760 is now available.

But I do not want to be the first person to try it.

Oh go ahead. If it messes up your keyboard, then we'll have a new topic to kick around.
Seriously, I think George has tried it. Seems like he mentioned it on the GEM forum.

Ok, here is a question.

The instructions said that the generated file size is:

Generated Files and size:
SK880.LZ3 (1.038.892 bytes)

Also here is another instruction:

2. Check that the file is decompressed without errors and that the size of
the generated file is exactly the same as reported in the Upgrade
Specifications (Generated File Size).

Alright, in winzip, the size is exactly as reported. However, when I extract the file, the file size is .99 MEG. So shall I be concerned?

No, don't be concerned. This is correct. The Megabyte is 2**20 = 1048576 Bytes, rather than 1,000,000 Bytes.

The size of your file is slightly less than the true MB, hence it is shown as .99 MB

Alex
