Dear friends, today was a good day for music, because I have recorded two new songs The first one is "O barquinho" (Little boat) and is dedicated to my friend Chico, because I know that he likes this one a lot. The arrangement has a little surprise The second song is "Triste", which both in portuguese and italian means "Sad", and is dedicated very simply to all those who love this kind of music. Both songs were recorded with the 9000 pro and the same style, but with different tempos and different arrangements. Hope you will enjoy. http://andrearotolo.tripod.com/dreamer/id1.html

Andrea: Another Brasilian success (as predicted of course). Your emotional sensitively shines, especially on Triste. I don't know the Portuguese lyrics to 'My Little Boat', but I sing the english version, and feel that, in addition to great (chord)changes & melody, its's lyrics beg to be sung as well - Scott My Little Boat (O Barquinho), composed by Roberto Menescal My little boat Is like a note Bouncing merrily along Hear it splashing up a song The sails are white The Sky is bright Heading out into the blue With a crew of only two Where we can share Love's salty air On a little paradise that's afloat Not a care have we in my little boat The wind is still We feel a thrill Of a voyage heaven bound Though we only drift around Warmed by the sun Two hearts as one Beating with enchanted bliss Melting in each other's kiss When daylight ends And sly-ly sends Little stars to twinkle brightly above It's goodbye to my little boat of love

Scott, Terry, Mario, Donny, Armando, just one word: THANKS!
Chico, I am at your disposal; these days I am really finding out the brazilian side of my soul: maybe I will stay in Brazil forever. Just in case, can you help me finding a full time job as a musician?

Andrea.... IN case you didnt know what I meant by "Carioca" in my previous post above.... [Here is a bit of that Brazilian's definition of "Carioca": According to linguists, the term Carioca, as locals call themselves, is not derived from the word Rio, as in carioca. It is actually a Tupi Indian term (kara'i oca), roughly meaning "white house", or "house of whites" (see history ). That's how they called the houses built by the Portuguese. For some reason, eventually the Portuguese started thinking of themselves as Cariocas. You don't have to be born in Rio to be a Carioca. All you have to do is relax into the city lifestyle, and soon you will become one. There are some basics you should learn first, though, if you want to make friends with locals, that is... ] ------------------ www.donnypesce.com
