I was just curious...., how man here play the piano voice on their keyboards and leave the preset octave settings as it is? Personally I can't stand the default setting. Everytime I play the piano voice I always do an octave shift down by 1. I feel so lost without the lower register when playing piano..

Agreed Squeak
At least 80% of the time I shift down. If I need to go back to the default setting I just set another registration button in the higher register.

I don't usually shift down unless I need to go down that low for a particular song. I don't often go down that low, but it's not a bad idea cause I never use the upper notes.

I have two registration buttons set; one for low and one for high.
