Being and all that my band is kinda country/rock/oldies style, we usually show in jeans (black) and shirt/T for most gigs - except weddings, but those are different !!

I've got a closet full of jackets (some even still fit) that go from casual, conservative, glitzy and formal. In the winter season when the "snowbirds" are here I wear them. In the summer when the temps are consistently in the 90s...no one wears a jacket and tie...unless its a wedding or funeral.

Oh...and another thing: Show clothes are tax deductible...but they have to be clothes specifically for entertaining. The IRS is not big on letting you deduct a blue blazer.

I play in a blues rock cover band so a tux wouldn't cut it for me. Bad To The Bone in a tux probably isn't going to work. How you dress depends very much on the types of gigs you are doing. But always dress appropriately. We all know what is expected.
