It is clear you think XD9 is better than PSR2000, but its price is similar.

The price is NOT similar as far as I know. The price of the XD9 is more than twice than the PSR2000 from my calculations. If you know of an XD9 which sells for the same price as PSR2000, PLEASE let me know.

NO, I still think the PSR2000 is the BEST bang for the buck arranger keyboard available . . . . period !

You're absolutely correct about my feelings here.

Scott another Huge advantage with Ketron XD9 vs Tyros is the ability to Read TEXT Files.

Scott & All,

All styles currently within the SD1 can be copied onto a FD and LOADED into the XD-series, either into the on boad PATTERN memory (for quick instant access) or into the optional HD (to be loaded later into Pattern Memory). Due to the modern technology in the XD-series, all current audio loops within the SD1 are automatically 'created' in the XD-series so these need not be copied as well when copying the styles. If you create a new pattern/style in the SD1 and use the existing audio-loops, again, these can be carried over to the XD-series. The only drawback is should you create your own audio-loop (wave file) on the SD1's sampler and use within an existing/new pattern, this part will be 'missing' once this new style is copied into the XD-series since the XD-series doesn't have the sampler unit.

Hope this helps ... again for instantaneous replies from me, please refer Ketron questions to the new KETRON forum.

Thanks,

AJ
