Hello, Synthzoners

Here is another composition of my own. This time it is a solo piano piece in Bulgarian Folk genre which is meant to demonstrate the Live! Grand Piano voice on the DGX-305.

Recorded live. The only post-recording process was quantizing.

Again, the sheet music is available to those who like to try it on their own keyboards.

I hope you'll enjoy it!

George. Bravo! Absolutely SPLENDID composition composed and superbly performed by you. Challenging yet fun piece to learn and play. Btw: I notice that the piece is is 12/8 time, yet in your description, you cite it as 7/8 + 5/8 per measure. Am I to assume that when you actually play it, that to capture the rhythm it's best to count it: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-1-2-3-4-5?

Hello and thanks for your comments. It is always a good feeling to get positive remarks from the forum Gurus

Scott, this performance is far from perfect. I do not have enough time to exercise and I'm glad that there are computers to help me correct my mistakes.

You're right, it is not 12/8, it is uneven beat 7/8 + 5/8. My notating program cannot display such time.

Georgi, I've gone back to your website to listen to your other composition: "Sunrise". Wow. another WINNING song! I appreciate the classical form, theory, composition & harmony used, and sense the influence of Ravel,Debussy, & Mozart (Roccoco period flavor) on this piece.
