Sheet Music - Huge Collection
--------------------------------------------
This is a collection of about 600 different pieces of sheet music. Most are in pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format. Some are tif or jpg files and are zipped by song within this archive. The quality of the scans is quite good. I've printed a few and they are very legible. Some are a little skewed, but still useable. These are mostly for piano but also have lyrics etc and might have indications for other instruments (I'm not sure).

You will need to download Pando first, though, as I have no idea how to send it otherwise.

Taike, that's extremely generous of you.
May also be illegal, but I won't tell!

Guess you're right about it being illegal. Matter of fact, I downloaded the file elsewhere and thought I'd share it.
I will edit my original post so that it will say that I have sheet music for those that're interested.
Thx, Don. Like they say, better safe than sorry.

Hi Taike

Because of a computer "issue" with my main computer I'm using a different one with Windows 98SE which Panda doesn't support.

Any other way I could get the download?

Scott

I've had the honor of visiting with Taike over the last few days on line. He's a fascinating young man, a new father, lives in a land and culture which is rich in history (Laos) and is a well-rounded person with an admirable "World view" of critical issues. Plus, his recent posts here have been "gems". He gets my vote as one of the most unique, valuable members here.

A great guy to know!

Russ

Scott, I will try my best to figure out a way but keep in mind that I am a total klutz when it comes to computers. I sent a package to another SZ member and he apparently couldn't open it. Right now I don't know whether the problem is mine or his as I've never had problems sending files with Pando before. Now, if you can tell me how to send a folder then I'll get to it. I've tried attachments on regular email and each time I get the message that the network is down. Very weird. Argh, I'm just too stupid to do things right on computers. Or, be a bit patient, and I'll have my wife have a go at it. She's computer savvy. That means having to wait like three weeks, though, as right now I am in the process of joining my family in Laos. No more Taiwan for me, baby! Been here for 25 years and it's time to move on.
--------------------------------------------Russ, you're making me blush! I'm not in Laos (been there 5 times, though)as of yet but slowly getting there. Still running some documents (red tape...yuck)and then it'll be Hasta La Vista, Taiwan.

Now, now...I'm not that young in age (47) although most think that I'm in my early 30s. I do feel like a teenager and don't have time to grow old. I'll leave that to others.

Me being a unique and valuable member of the SZ forum? I don't know whether to laugh, cry or pat myself on the shoulder. Most likely not the latter. Still, thank you for your nice words and I'm happy that you've enjoyed my recent posts.

It's always great to get to know members better and to talk about other issues not related to music. Mind you, I love talking about music but there's more to people than that, right?

Russ, the feeling is mutual. Thanks again for your kind words as I appreciate them a lot.

Scott, you've got mail. I described the way I downloaded it. Not as hard as it looks as even I, the King of Computer Klutzes, could manage.

47...you're just a BABY! I'll be 62 in September. With me, it's not the years, it's the mileage. I'm like a 2005 vehicle with 400,000 miles on it!

Regards,

Russ

Russ, I think in kilometers so the mileAGE doesn't affect me.

OK then it's about 680,000 Kilometers!
