Do you LIKE the scats in the factory Tyros programs? I was very disapointed with them.

Interesting you ask this question. Perhaps the reason you were disappointed with the scat sounds is because, as I had stated at the beginning of this thread, the Tyros "doesn't come with 'Scat' voice sounds" at all.

Ty-bos? Sorry guys, but that one slipped right pass me. What does Ty-bos stand for?

Scott

Ty (tyros)
Bo (boys)
______________

TyBo .... a male Tyros owner !

Scott - I remember hearing some awful imitations of what Yanaha THOUGHT were scat type sounds. They had sylabic names like ooh and ahh. Like that.
All I remember was that they stunk. The choir was pretty, but the other shorter samples were pitiful.

As usual, UD slamming the Tyros and indirectly the people that in fact do enjoy the Tyros. UD why do you try and underhandedly take the mickey out of people when you get offended so easily yourself. In my last encounter with with you I decided not to respond. But my advise to you, start practice some humbleness. It probably would suit you.

Roy,
You need to chill. I am simply reviewing gear here. Nothing more. If you are looking for inner fulfilment from this forum, look somewhere else. This is a place to exchange ideas, techniques and share experiences...all of which I cherish and fully support.

I will not pull any punches during my reviews, because that will not serve any purpose. This isn't a group therapy class, and what I post is strictly about the gear. Lifeless, unfeeling, collections of plastic and soap. We're not discussing parenting or humanity here. We're hashing out the pro's and con's of INANIMATE objects and how they relate to our quest to make music.

I don't know what your problem with me is, but you need to back away slowly. You're getting all worked up over nothing. If you love your Tyros - that's great. I liked it alot too, but there are many things that fell short of my desires, and I share those thoughts with the group here.

So before you give advice on humility ... please be asured that I direct NO comments to the user. Only to the gear or the manufacturer. They are the only areas that I comment on.

We don't need a "Sgt. at arms" here.

Well Dave,
first I'm fine thankyou, so I'm quite cool, I don't need to chill anymore.
Second, you might think that you are giving your opinion about arrangers and keyboards in a cold unemotional way, but that is not how it's being perceived lot's of the time.
Third, I think you are elevating yourself to some sort of authority in this forum and only because you have 4000+ posts doesn't mean that you have Carte Blanch to jump on me or insult anyone else here.
This is my last response in this matter.

Jump on you?
I simply addressed your verbal attack on my intent. I never claimed to be an authority. I just have oodles of experience in the business, and I play almost evry new entry on the market. I like to share what I find so others can make informed decisions.
Bye now.

I enjoy your reviews on the various equipment, it helps
keep me from buying the wrong thing. You explain the
pro's & con's of the product in your review, & it gives
me the opportunity to take it from there.
After all the con's for you might be pro's for me.
Keep posting the great reviews.
Thanks
Denny
