Ever started to record something and from the very off it all starts to go badly wrong?
I started to record (for no particular reason) 'this little light of mine'. Used to sing it in choir at church when I was but a nipper. As soon as I started playing I realised I was in the wrong key for my voice. Next I thought I had a rock piano selected for the right hand....I diddn't and the organ sound threw me. Then I forgot the words (If I ever knew them )
Anyway for some strange reason (and probably because I was enjoying myself) I kept on going ....like a dog with a bone. It got worse and worse but it was fun.
I listened to the track afterwards meaning to bin it but hey I don't mind sharing my incompetance......it made me laugh it might do you too

Hiya Tony: The best things happen when you least expect it. That's what makes spontaneous playing sound so fresh. Enjoyed your musical repartee. I can tell you're really having fun with the 9000pro. Thanks for sharing. Scott
Hey Tony sounds like you are Enjoying the 9000 PRO. That's good I had to listen to your song a couple of time's, sounds good. The little bit of laughter in there adds to it. Thanks for sharing. Denny
Tony, nice song! And nice playing too! I will play Scott's role for once and ask you: which style did you use? and which sound? (I think it's the Cool Organ, but anyway...can you confirm?) I am also glad that you kept the file size down to 1.45 Mb, so I could download it in less than 15 mins.

Hi all Thanks for your kindness but I know it was pretty atrocious really, but still funny.
Dreamer the style was gospel shuffle I think and maybe the sound was cool organ. Like I said I was expecting to come in with the piano and got the organ instead (wrong part select button depressed ) I did not really take note of the settings afterwards as I gave the song up as a bad job.
C'mon some of you others must have made a mess onetime or other? Or is it just me
Best to all Tony W

Hi Don, GET OUTTA HERE Big E will never die for me while you are around... hard to tell your messes from the good ones indeed. Your superb version of 'walkin the dog' is still one of my most played MP3's.
I wish my best days were as good as your messes! Very Best to you Tony W

I HAVE to ask ....... where is that expression from? What does it mean? Here in the states........ it's not generally used in casual conversation. I'm still chuckling to myself here.......

UD .. thnx for asking .... I was hesitating to do so .... perhaps it's slang for 'muck-up, 'screw-up' and the like? ... I do know that for the most part our friends 'across the pond' don't take some words (such as the 'f' word) quite as seriously as we do ... in fact I know some Irish families (originally from Ireland, and first generation here) who use the term " 'f' er" as commonly as I might use 'darn' ... t.

Hello UD whoops I think this may be my faux pas (again)
Here in the UK it is generally used as an expression to mean made a mistake or to have ruined something. i.e. I tried to mend the washer on my tap (faucett) and cocked it up so had to call a plumber. However it has to be said that it shows a distinct lack of breeding to use such an expression
With it's obvious connotations I very much doubt that you would ever hear such language from our own dear Queen! Now some of the minor Royals....(different story )

Ahhhh Now the f word.....The Queen uses that one all the time
