UD .. thnx for asking .... I was hesitating to do so .... perhaps it's slang for 'muck-up, 'screw-up' and the like? ... I do know that for the most part our friends 'across the pond' don't take some words (such as the 'f' word) quite as seriously as we do ... in fact I know some Irish families (originally from Ireland, and first generation here) who use the term " 'f' er" as commonly as I might use 'darn' ...

Hello UD
whoops I think this may be my faux pas (again)

Here in the UK it is generally used as an expression to mean made a mistake or to have ruined something. i.e. I tried to mend the washer on my tap (faucett) and cocked it up so had to call a plumber. However it has to be said that it shows a distinct lack of breeding to use such an expression

With it's obvious connotations I very much doubt that you would ever hear such language from our own dear Queen! Now some of the minor Royals....(different story )

Best to you
Tony W

Tony,
Finally got my sound working again. You sound great! Smooth and polished.
I think I'll add "This Little Light" to my Nursing Home shows.
