Hi, I think that I need some help in my decision, because I'm not sure what to do.
I have a KORG T3 and a Technics KN700, but now I want to send my KN700 and buy a new one. But I'm not sure about witch one buy. I'm a home user, it's just my hobby.
Can anyone helpme in that decision?
thanks

It's quite an easy decision if you want an excellent keybed with 76 keys.
Another benifit with the Korg is they don't change models every 2 years.
It's all personal preference, but the above would be my choice.

Most everyone thinks the Tyros is easier to use, lighter, and probably less expensive. It would be ideal for home or professional use.
It is 61 keys, no internal speakers. The price should be really great now as a new model is in the pipeline.

I heard that the fill-ins on the KORGS to transition is not so good compared to Yamahas. This would be a major problem since you use that feature a lot.

I don't own PA1X but I do not have problems with any of the Yams I owned in the past including my currect PSR3000.

Maybe you can buy from the places that has 30 day money back. You don't know these things until you tried it out extensively for a week. In the past, I changed kybd several times with the moneyback without settling on my final choice. I discovered lots of regrets on my previous choices. Thank god for 30 days moneyback.

Uh - Lukitoh;

I respectfully disagree.

The Pa1XPro places the fill in the song immediately - the TYROS and PSR wait for the top of the measure.

This is a big advantage for me when using the Pa1XPro. If I hit the fill on the 1st beat, I get a measure of fill; If I hit a fill on the second beat (4/4) I get two beats of fill. Much more musical, much more useful. As I recall, there are not even any fill buttons on the Yamaha; you just select a button that cause a fill each time you change variations. This of course means everytime you transition to Variation 2, you get the same fill. Not so on the Pa1XPro.

So what one may see as a difficulty, another might percieve as an advantage.

Frostbyte,

I'm sorry, but you are wrong about the Yammies. They let break and fill-ins begin where you want them to begin.... without doubts !!

I think the Tyros sounds much more musical and is much more easy to operate than PA1X and if you ask me : Go for the Tyros!

Hi,
for me, home user, I only need good styles, because I enjoy playing my free time to get away stress.

In that case would be better pa1x or tyros?
I ask you this because I reserved a pa1x for wensday so I only have a day to change my mind!!

regards.
