Hello All,

I just bought Korg i30, and on its box it said that it came with extra 10 style floppy disks.

Unfortunately, mine doesn't have them in it.

Does somebody know where I can download/buy those styles from? Or if somebody has those, would you kind enough to email/sell them to me?

Thanks

Hi Dnj,

I really love this keyboard. In fact this is my first high end keyboard. The features "overwhelm" me

It has more feature than I expected.
It's really nice.

At first I think about Roland G-800 or G-1000. But both of them kind of expensive and hard to get.

My consideration why I didn't go with newer model is only the price.

The key size and feel really matter to me. And the key feel of those Roland EXR-7s and Korg PA-50 (even though their features are great) do not satisfy me.

Moreover, I like they way they build this keyboard (they use metal-based body), not a cheap plastic.

So, if I want to go to Roland EXR-7s or PA-50, I need to spend $1000, but with this keyboard, it's much less than that

I also consider Yamaha 9000 Pro and Roland VA-76 or any Roland VA series.

Even though I will miss Roland's morphing style feature, but the features this keyboard offers surpass my need.

Btw, the link you gave me doesn't contain any styles from original 10 style floppy disk.

It just have the factory preloaded disk.

Thanks

Hi Dnj,

I'm sorry, but I still couldn't find any links in that Ralf Schiller's webpage that allows me to download the content of extra 10 style floppy disks.

Thanks.

I'm not certain these are the ones you're looking for, but the following site has ZIP files of IFD-01 through IFD-10, and others. http://www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/Bayou/4990/styles.htm

I hope that helps.

I never owned one, but I remember liking the key feel / action and the styles of the I30 that I did get to play on a couple of times.

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the links. I saw that link before, and I thought it might be styles for i3, not i30.

Do you know, can I load i3 styles into i30? Thanks.

As far as I know, these styles are compatible with all the i-Series models (i3,i4,i5,i30,i35,i40,i50) and the PA60/80. I'm not sure about the iS-Series, however.
