Getting a Manual (email from Syntaur - 4/29/98):

Syntaur Productions now has the ESQ and SQ-80 manuals in stock; they are no longer available directly from Ensoniq.  The availability of these has been in limbo for some time, after Ensoniq shut down their accessories department, but we have now basically taken over that department.  The manuals are $19.95 plus shipping.

We are the distributor for Ensoniq's sound libraries for their out-of-production keyboards such as the ESQ.  We have all of the 880 sounds they created for the ESQ, the 160 sounds for the SQ-80, and 5 banks of sounds that we have created here for those keyboards.  We even just finished a new(!) bank of sounds for the ESQ, our Soundset 5, mostly in response to the large number of hip-hop artists now using these keyboards.

Warning -- Battery Voltage is Low
Save Data And Consult Owners Manual
It's time to get a new battery. The battery is a 3-volt lithium battery that has to be soldered into the mainboard. Ensoniq at one time had a list of Authorized Service Centers. It is cheaper to solder it yourself because the battery is only around $5.
