This is a copy of the standard factory preload disks that is included with with the i30 keyboard.

• Download the file i30preld.zip
• Use Winzip or similar program to unzip to a temporary directory.
• You should have a directory called. I30pload.set
• Copy this entire directorie to an MS-DOS formatted DSHD floppy disks (format this on the i30 beforehand to ensure correct type of format).
• Load the preload via DISK mode as described in the owner's manual.

On later OS versions (2.1 up) there is the ability to exchange data between banks A/B and C/D. After doing so you can use this restore file to reload the original data back in to banks A/B.

This file can be downloaded and prepared on a PC running Windows. You will also need Winzip or a similar utility to decompress and recover the system files.

This is the operating system for all i30/i30HD keyboards (Oct99). Only upgrade your i30 OS if you have an earlier version (Your version number may be briefly displayed on your i30's "wake-up" screen on powering up, if not the OS version is below 2.x.x ).

Carefully read the readme.txt file for details on how to load the OS into the i30. Please follow the instructions carefully as incorrect procedure can cause data corruption to the internal ROM.

This file can be downloaded and prepared on a Macintosh computer. You will also need Stuffit Expander and DiskCopy.
