senbank1.n5

Patch bank for the Korg N5 by Stephen Edwards (skedward@iinet.net.au)

Most of these are techno/electronic oriented patches.

A rough type/classification of the sound is given. If you load the patch bank into the N1/N5 editor, the type should be displayed in the "Remark" field.

None of the Combi's in this bank use any PrgU sounds. This is intentional so you can load/move them without having to keep track of the PrgU sounds.

Synth/Lead

20: Mouldbass

The first patch I ever created on the N5. Not a great sound but kept for historical reasons J I have modified it a bit since.

Bass

21: Bum2bass

Low frequency bass. Cool overdriven on a mixing desk or similar for a dirty sound.

A woodflute sound. Made this just to try something different. If you make the attack faster you get a percussive sound as well.

Strng/Wood

80: Clangverb

Metallic clangorous industrial type sound with big reverb.

Perc/SFX

81: Distnoise

Basically noise, the FX makes it sound "distant".

Perc/SFX

82: Anoiseloop

An industrial type noise that loops if you hold down the key.

Perc/SFX

83: Poleymoley

With the attack set slow makes an interesting atmospheric type pad sound. Set the it faster and you get a percussive bell like attack.

Perc/SFX

84: Metalnoise

Another industrial type clunk.
