  • Fairlight
  • Wikipedia's page for the Fairlight. Fairlight CMI is famous for being one of the first companies to sell a sampling workstation. Fairlight now make high end DAW systems. For Fairlight CMI info, discussion and resources see the Holmes Page. Hermann Seib has resources and info for the CMI IIx. Fairlight still produce high end digital recording solutions but not keyboards. K.M.I also provides info as well as pictures and links to Fairlight resources. CMI Control is software that allows CMI control from a PC running Windows. You also can read archived Fairlight Newletters. Fairlight also made the CVI video processor.   • PPG Wave Home Page

  • This site provides patches as well as a lot of good information on the Rhodes Chroma polyphonic analog synthesizer. Part suppliers and relevant book & magazine reviews are also listed. This synth shares nones of the Rhodes heritage, the name was simply used by Fender who produced it as they owned the rights to use "Rhodes" at the time.
  • Roger Linn Design
  • Famous for the first sample based midi drum machines and also the Akai MPC-60 design (new system software now available). Checkout AdrenaLinn his latest product for processing electric guitar.
