My wife and I have the same problem. It works most of the time OK when I sing, but when my wife sings I get lots of distortion. But her voice is much clearer and better than mine without VH.

I think that the factory settings are to strong, and there is to much VH as a back up.

Turning down the VH volume for ea. voice from 100 to 86 was the only way we could solve that problem. Don't forget to save your settings as a user file.

As UD said try different settings and experiment. I also thing you should get a different Mic. We use a AKG 1000S. It works great and is also great for recording.
