A while back I got an AKG 3000 (with a large diaphragm) on e-bay for an incredible price (same as the 1000S
).
It's the model before the 3000B.
Do you own one of these or have you tried it?
What do you think?
It took me some time to play around with to get it sound right, but I think I got it to work pretty well. My wife uses the 1000S.
