Actually, the 6-channel direct seems to be the route to go. Not only does it sound fantastic, it's the least complicated hookup.

I'm headed out to purchase two pieces of aluminum for the satellite speakers today, hope to have them mounted by this evening, and I'll work on the wiring harness on Saturday. During the same time frame, now till Saturday, I also have to put out two magazine articles, play two nursing homes, and cook Thanksgiving dinner for the entire family. This gettin' old stuff ain't what is's cracked up to be!
