As per my email, I highly suspect the conflict is with your installed Technics USB driver. I do NOT have that installed on any of my computers.

I know it is a big hassle, but the way to check is to:
1. uninstall the Technics driver,
2. uninstall the Yamaha driver,
3. reboot and
4. reinstall the Yamaha driver.
That test would determine if there is a driver conflict between the two.
