That's a great idea!!

I also own the Roland TD-12 and often gig with them as a drummer. You are right, they sound awesome. Have you purchased the Vexpressions patches for the TD-12? They make the stock drum patches that come with the TD12 sound like toy drums.

I'll say it again, I think you should go and try the Pa2xpro, it is such a nice keyboard.

However, although the Roland TDs are AMAZING for playing electric drums, I can't say the same for their use as a module. The bass drum for example sounds too natural - almost like a live drum kit in a room, instead of giving it the real 'Kick-In-The-Chest' dance sound that actually the Yamaha is quite good at.

Another problem is that there is a slightly noticeable latency (the time it takes from receiving the signal to playing it) which dirties the sound a little.
