Lloyd, out of respect for your age and your beliefs, I won't say what I REALLY think, however I WILL say that I don't think the world has really changed that much; we just have better news coverage. Perception (of the condition of society) depends a lot on WHO you are, WHERE you are, and how much it affects you personally. There have been atrocities much worse than the current ones committed since biblical times and before. Depending on whether you're the slave owner or the slave, there are many who might think that "the world has come to" a better place than it was before. It's all a matter of perspective. I say, let's "put GoOd back in our lives".
