Personally I’m not very comfortable talking much about music, I guess, talking about equipment is just tempting as it is less personal and allows to distract oneself from all other bother.
This is true, I get it. But since we don't have a "like" button here, we need to find ways to express our appreciation with words. You can always ask the performer about the gear they used, right?
