My KF90 Roland is a fine sounding instrument - but has extremely limited style selection in Jazz, Latin, and New Age. I am not necessarily interested in the complete styles - only the rhythm tracks. Does anyone have a library of them to sell - compatible with the KF90?
Also - one problem I need advice on - when I convert song sections from the sequencer to a style -and try to save on the floppy disc - the kf90 runs out of internal memory room to save it - long before the disc is full. Must be a max file size problem or something. I might have to go more with midi-files instead of styles - which I didn't want to have to do in live performance.
I also wonder about a retro-fit to a hard drive - with concern for how to physically do it and the reading and overall compatibility issues - I just really need a whole lot more room to move and work.
Also - how did Roland manage to put so many mediocre brass and wind sounds on this instrument-good for way back - backing only. Yes - I now have some moments of
""Ketron Nostalgia""
My dream board: 88 piano action keys, hard drive, sequencer to style conversion, assignable 3 pedal foot switch with assignments saved in each registration, separate out for drums, touch screen, CD drive to load from, no onboard speaker system, 3 variations, 3 fills, Roland pianos, strings, Ketron brass and winds, Yamaha percussion, Korg synths, 4 performance pads with capacitiy to trigger moderate size midi files that are queued up with an associated registration.
